Während der Fußball-Europameisterschaft ist eine der Hauptausweichrouten für RadlerInnen der Radweg auf der 2er Linie. So wie es sich heute früh dort abgespielt hat, hab ich's noch nie erlebt.
Den LKW-Fahrer, der sich auf Rad- und Fussweg breitgemacht hat, hat's wenig gejuckt...
ein bisschen regen und ein bisschen zu lang..

right after the junction to mariahilfer straße the taxi overtook me and pulled in 5m in front of me to park on the bike lane!!! i couldn't switch to the car lane cause at the very moment another car drove by - i nearly crashed into the taxi, but the driver didn't notice me at all.
another taxi "overlooked" a yield sign at lazarettgasse and nearly knocked me over only a few minutes ago.. and than started shouting at me!
i should really start to report these people to the police. their driving (and parking) is so fuckin' dangerous. i wish i would have more free time to do so..

in this area there are always cars or taxis parked on the bike lanes..

audi blocked the bike lane in the city centre. the guy in the van next to it was waiting - he was blocked as well and couldn't pull out..
as far as i can see it there also a yellow van on the other side of the road blocking the bike lane there..

also ganz stimmts nicht, das dieses protz-auto AUF dem radweg parkt. wer aber der markierung dieser radüberquerung im hintergrund folgt, würde direkt ins fahrzeug krachen. - und deswegen hab ich mich entschieden, dass der mercedes doch hierher passt!

15m weiter (am Schwedenplatz) gibt es wirklich genug Freiflächen, die zugeparkt werden können. Warum gerade eine Hauptverbindung für RadlerInnen zugeparkt wird, ist mir schleierhaft...
Umzüge auf höchstem Niveau?

Ich denke eher das Niveau ist hier unter aller Sau - wenn man bedenkt mit welcher Geschwindigkeit die Autos hier unterwegs sind (30er Zone hin oder her), ist es weniger als lustig in den Gegenverkehr gedraengt zu werden.

s/he was only using her/his parking lot half to show off what her/his jeep can do. well, s/he's nearly outside the bike lane mark - but it's already a barrier on the quite small bike lane there.
"blitzkurier" at ring bike lane

the truck was basically blocking the whole width of the lane. "blitzkurier" means they are quite fast messengers (fast like a flash). probably because they don't give a shit about parking prohibitions and don't even care to park space-saving..
notice that most bikers have to turn left here to continue driving on the ring - not possible cause the truck blocks the area between the trees..
