wieder ein baustellenauto mitten am radweg. ich glaube ja, die lesen hier mit und haben spass daran ;)

und das leider direkt vor dem radweg !! obwohl die ganze Strasse frei ist. und total überrascht warum ich ein photo mache, weil "eh nur laden" ... aber bitte nicht am radweg.

der taxler in der taxiwarteschlange muss am radweg stehen, weil daneben die altpapiercontainer stehen. Dahinter wär zwar genug platz, aber dann wär er eben 3meter weiter hinten und das ist einem auto wohl nicht zumutbar

Der Radübergang von Scharzenbergplatz - zaunergasse - neulinggasse ist immer total verstopft. Die Baustellenfahrer sehen die Strasse als Sackgasse und parken das Ende einfach zu. Absolutes Halte- und Parkverbot hin oder her. Für Radfahrer ist es aber keine Sackgasse und da kanns schon mal passieren dass ein Radfahrer sein Rad zwischen den zahllosen parkenden Lastautos durchheben muss. (Das Photo ist nicht gestellt !!)

Der Fahrer war freundlich und zuckt mit den Schultern. "Wo soll ich sonst parken?" Auf der der Strasse? auf einem Parkplatz? Ich bin sicher, er ist in einem prekären Lohnverhältnis und unter Zeitstress. Aber: Wenn er den Parkplatz gegenüber nimmt, dann braucht er maximal 5minuten länger und die verliert er im Stadtverkehr ohnehin im nächsten Stau. Also keine Entschuldigung, dafür immer den schwächsten StrassenbenutzerInnen aus Ignoranz und Bequemlichkeit den Raum wegzunehmen.

Daneben war ein Parkplatz. Und zwei Autospuren. Aber macht nix. Am besten parken tut man immer noch am Radweg. Da behindert man auch niemanden. Ausser den RadfahrInnen.

Auf der Praterstrasse hatte wer was ganz eiliges zu tun. Oder wichtiges. Oder sonst was. Und wenn man dafür sich quer über den Radweg stellen muss? macht nix :)

The transportbus is bigger than the parking-space and he dont bother to go 10m further to the other side of the street where tere would have been enough space. Why should he - he is only blocking half of one of the narrowest bikelanes in vienna and he knows that he would never get fined for this in vienna.
The driver was still sitting in the car - reading. So it wasnt even a case of hurry or emergency.

Thats a cool one too. You often see cars that are simple to long to fit in certain types of parking-spaces. But people with this cars dont seek another parking-space that is big enough for their car.
They just use the small space they found and the rest of the car is on the sidewalk or - as here - on the bikelane.

I think this shows very good how cardriving work : "I have a big car and I take the place it needs. If I have to take it away from other people living in this street like pedestrians or bikers, I dont care"

I love this one. The parked car uses half of the bikelane although it would have enough space on the other side not to do so. But why use any other place on the roads when there is a bikelane to use? we dont care about bikers anyway ...

The bikelane on Landstrasser Hauptstrasse is a notorious one. Its one of the longest and most narrow in vienna and you can experience ~10 bikelane-violations and 4 opening doors every time you use it. Of course if you dont use it you violate austrian law and can be fined by the police. And every second car will honk at you and overtake you at full speed with 5mm distance. Its a loose-loose-situation for bikers: use the bikelane and get killed or dont use it and get fined and killed too.
